Reinventing a Classic

More dugout than downhill at a glance, Sandbox’s helmet broke every alpine rule, and that’s exactly why it worked. Our challenge: tap into subculture style to increase helmet adoption and safety on the mountain. We evolved the Classic through next-generation protection, ventilation, fit, and form and it quickly became a rider favorite and Canada’s #1-selling winter sports helmet.

Venting, addressed both passive and active airflow with a focus on goggle integration.
